I like how the article explains that an estate plan can help you to have more control over how your assets will be divided after your death. My husband and I have a couple of kids and we want to make sure that certain things go to certain children as it will benefit them more. By making an estate plan, we can make sure that the specific things will be in place for our kids if we happen to die.

I recently had a relative pass away. I wantdd to review my great-aunts really old policy, and she has already paid over 10,000.00 of the benefit of the policy, and due to inflation of cost, the benefit will not cover funeral costs.
